With this winter concert, the Ettelbruck Philharmonic offers a perfect balance between the typical music of the Scottish highlands and the joie de vivre of Ireland. Audiences will experience a veritable festival, alternating between the distinctive sound of the bagpipes, frenzied dancing, lively rhythms and sentimental ballads. The fifty-odd musicians in the wind band, led by conductor Rainer Serwe, will be joined by a host of unexpected guests to give the event a truly Celtic flavour.
