To obtain the certificate requested by the National Youth Service (SNJ) as part of the host family application for an au pair, the following information must be sent to batisse@ettelbruck.lu:
- Name and address of the applicant
- Plan or sketch of the host family’s home, including the occupancy of the bedrooms:
- Which room is intended for the au pair?
- How are the other residents distributed?
- It is not necessary to indicate the names of the persons; descriptions such as “parents”, “child(ren)”, “1 person”, “2 persons”, etc. are sufficient.
- If the host family is renting, written consent from the landlord must be presented when registering the au pair at the population office.
Please note that the room intended for the au pair must comply with the regulations for rooms intended for prolonged stay, as provided for in the applicable building, road and site regulations (règlement sur les bâtisses, les voiries et les sites en vigueur).
