The main missions of the general secretariat are:

  • Management of the mail sent to the College of Aldermen and to the municipal council
  • Coordination of the files to be submitted for the decision of the College of Aldermen and the municipal council
  • General coordination with all administrative departments
  • Assisting the College of Aldermen in the performance of their duties
  • Establishment of agendas of the municipal council and of the College of Aldermen
  • Organising the meetings of the municipal council and the College of Aldermen
  • Drafting the deliberations and keeping the records of the municipal council and the College of Aldermen
  • Development and updating of Municipal Regulations
